Werk Movers

Today 'Werk Movers" made my moving experience stress free. The employees were very efficient and polite. I observed that they were careful with my furniture. The best part was that the owner called me to check on how everything was coming along. I felt completely satisfied therefore I recommend them if you want a company that you can trust.

We used Werk Movers and they are TERRIBLE! I too felt like we should support our firefighters, but they were not what they portrayed. First, the move was scheduled on a Tuesday and they called an hour and half after they were supposed to be there and said their other job took longer and it would still be another hour or two before they could get there. I decided to reschedule for the next day at 10:00 am. I get a phone call 20 minutes before they were supposed to be here and said their truck had a flat tire. They arrive an HOUR later to begin with no apology. There were 2 men who loaded the truck. One sat in the truck almost the entire time while the other one took his time going inside and getting each item. 2 hours later, we headed to the storage unit. We decided since it took them 2 hours the first time, to go eat some lunch and come back. We get back an hour later to find 6 guys sitting in the back of the truck. Not only were we charged for the hour, we were charged for the additional labor for all of the other guys. Not once did the guys open their mouths and say that they were calling additional people to help and it wouldn't take very long.
I felt like Werk Movers took advantage of us. We paid our bill and they didn't even say a word. Very poor service and communication. I would not recommend these guys to ANYONE.

After getting many quotes last year from many movers, Werk was the most affordable and their website seemed sincere, they claim to be firefighters which I hold close to my heart after 911. I took a chance and used them. We were very surprised at how quickly and smooth our move happen (2 hours tops). They broke my son's crib leg but that was easily fixed with some Gorilla Glue other than that, I had no issues. The communication with Doug, the owner, was great and they arrived in a timely manner. We are planning to move again this year and hope they will be open to do our move.

I picked out a few moving companies with the lowest prices and googled them to find reviews. I found horrible reviews for the other three companies and nothing but positive reviews for Werk Movers so I scheduled a date with Werk Movers. I could not have been more impressed with the service I received moving day! The three guys that showed up were off duty firemen and were clean, polite, well spoken and were pretty good looking, to say the least ;) before I could blink my house was packed, loaded and unpacked at my new home. You can really tell this is a locally owned business by how well it's run. In fact, Doug(the owner) was one of the men that helped with my move. I would recommend them to anyone I know! Thanks guys for making my move so enjoyable!
