Eastern Pearl Chinese Restaurant

We went there on a saturday to have lunch and to watch the Chinese New Year festivity perfomances. We arrived a little after 1:00pm. We wanted to order the lunch specials but was told by the waitress that they don't serve that on weekends. We checked out the Dim Sum portion of the menu and it was not even a half page of stuff availableso pathetic! So we ordered two appetizers and two main dinner dishes (for lunch) because we didn't want to be rude and get up and leave. The appetizers were small and mediocre. When the main dishes came they were just plates of greasy mess!

The restuarant got crowded all of sudden with groups of senior citizens. I didn't notice any asian people in the restaurant other than the staff. This is usually a bad indication. When we were almost done the server came with the check so I told her that we were waiting also for the Chinese New Year performance
(10 minutes away). A guy came by and took my credit card and came back to tell us that the table we were sitting at is reserved and that we could watch the performances from the street. How incredibly rudeour bill for lunch was over 55.00 and we couldn't sit there a few minutes longer? If the table was reserved why didn't they tell us in the first place?

Chan's Chinese Restuarant on Colonial Drive is always packed with asian customerswhy? Because their food is authentic and their dim sum is to die for! I love it and my co-workers love it! Even PF Changs is better compared to Eastern Pearl.

I mean I have had way better chinese food from other states. I thought the sesame chicken would be good but tasted like chicken with seeds just on top.

This place really is a cut above most other Chinese restaurants in the area. This is *not* one of those Chinese buffet places, but an actual nice restaurant. The setting is lovely (even though it's in a shopping plaza), the staff is generally very good and, most importantly, their food has always been excellent. I have yet to be disappointed. The soupy dumplings and Crispy Beef are two of my own favorites and I love their fried rice.

My family and I met for an early dinner at Eastern Pearl. We were very impressed with the staff and the cleanliness of the restaurant. The staff seated us quickly and took our drink & appetizer orders.
Our meals were prepared correctly as we had ordered variances of menu items. Everything was very appetizing and hot when served. The cost for this meal was around $53 for 3 people which is reasonable for the portions served and the service received.

Eastern Pearl provides a level of Chinese food other restaurants should try to reach. The spinach dumplings are fantastic, even the green beans side dish is good enough to eat as your main course. Crispy beef, crispy chicken, basil seafood, whole fish, the quality foods would let you eat a different meal every day for weeks on end. The service is sharp and your water glass is never let go empty.

Wonderfull food. Wonderfull menue. Terrific service. Beautiful atmosphere. All in all, the best Chinese resturant in the area.

Just a few words that I used to describe this truly unique Restaurant. Great food and great service at reasonable prices round out this gem. If you like your Chinese food on the sweeter end of the scale, I would higly recommend the Crispy Beef. For the seafood lover in you, the Mango Shrimp is truly a delight. "Try it, you will like it."

their tofu in sesame sauce is great.they are pricey though that's the one downfall for myself. Other than that good food, not worth the price.

best food, great service, beautiful smile, we love your dim sum, if you can develop more choice , that would be great thank you.
