Bad Fish
I have been going to Fuji for 8 years, I live down the street regularly order take-out. Tonight when my boyfriend and I dined in, we not only waited an hour for our food to come out (meanwhile watching two other tables come in, eat and leave) but when our food finally did arrive, two of our baked rolls had obviously been sitting out. I have cut them slack in the past when the food was not the freshest, but tonight I chose to (kindly) bring it to their attention and was met with grief and lack of concern. The manager asked what he could do, but refused to take the items off the bill as we had asked. After offering to pay the bill in full just so we could leave, we sat waiting several more minutes while the sushi chef gave us the evil eye. With so many other (better) sushi restaurants around, you would think Fuji wouldn't risk losing such loyal customers over $25 worth of bad fish. Banned.

OK food . . . not so great service. by Meaghan T. at InsiderPages
I got to Fuji about 45 minutes before they closed and when I sat down the waitress came up to us and said, We're closing so you can only make one order, and walked away. We placed our one order which took forever and then the waitress stared at us while we ate, I guess she had some place to be. As soon as I put my chopsticks down she ran over and gave us the bill and said they were now closed. We paid and left and haven't been back. The food was ok but so is the food at other sushi bars where they have good service.

Delicious Sushi. by Alicia L. at InsiderPages
This restaurant has some of the best sushi I have had in Orlando. The service is good but a little slow. The atmosphere is nice however I wouldn't recommend bringing your family here. This is a nice restaurant to meet up with friends or a date. A little on the expensive side, but well worth it.

All Rice No Fish
Fuji used to be the place to go when I was attending Rollins College. They had authentic looking wait staff and substantial pieces of fish in the rolls. Ever since the beginning of this year Fuji has unaccomadating wait staff and they serve the tiniest pieces of fish inside their rolls, there is so much rice around the rolls that it is a total rip off for your money. Why pay top dollar for 30 cent rice? I'm sorry to say that whoever took over as management has not upheld the standard that Fuji once was. Check out Hana Sushi is Altamonte Springs!

Great rolls
This place makes some huge and creative rolls and has a number of good options for vegetarians. It can be a bit crowded because it's so popular, so maybe you want to try it to go.

Decent Sushi
Not the best sushi, but good for the price. Gets very packed at lunch, so go early, late or spend a little more for better sushi at Wazzabi or Seito's down the street.

great place to eat for sushi lovers
I really don't understand what the bad reviews are for, I eat Sushi once or twice a month been to pretty much all sushi restaurants in a 50 mile radius of orlando and inside orlando, and this place is the best, its a bit crowded but I'm a huge person, prompt seating even if you don't have reservations, and the sushi is incredible, it reminds me of a traditional Japanese sushi house. The prices are good a bit lower then most places and I believe the food tastes better then the other places. and if you don't feel like sitting in a reataurant that can get crowded which means its gotta be good if its packed you can always do take out with them which takes a bit longer and is better to call in first for that because they believe sitting customers should come first which is a great idea. I've seen the management even talked to them the waitresses are great as well check up on you to see if everything is good and to see if there is anything else you need and you get your check promptly when you want to leave. out of the 50 or so times i've gone to this sushi restaurant i haven't had any issues or problems.

Dynamite sushi is the best!
If at all possible try and go to the Hiawassee location since it seems a little less crowded and the service is always faster. You must try the dynamite roll it is so different than what other places have to offer. For dessert the fried cheesecake with chocolate sauce is a must-do!

Excellent food and experience
We dined at Fuji Sushi on a Sunday night. No problem getting a table or being seated. The restaurant was busy but not crowded. Ordered drinks, later ordered appetizers and entrees. Appetizers appeared promptly and entrees appropriately later. The chirashi Sushi was absolutely amazing. The largest portions I have ever seen. I have had sushi in Virginia (where I live), San Francisco, and Tokyo and Fuji Sushi was as good or better than I've had anywhere. Our server was from Japan and she was delightful.
