not too shabby

I went here looking for Pez dispensers, as my mother is an avid collector. I was told there was one found here that she needed. I went inside, looked around (never was offered any help), and was surprised at how big the store was. There was a large selection of everything. When I asked for what I was looking for, I was very disappointed with the attitude of the response I got, as if what I was asking for was completely pathetic. I like the store and I'm usually understanding with poor customer service, but I will never return there again.

will never buy from them again

I purchased a bedroom suite from sticks and stuff back in the middle of June. My bed was paid off that day and I paid the rest off in three weeks. I was promised my bed in two weeks and today it has been 41 DAYS! I've been calling them on a weekly basis and all they say is "the shipment should be here in the next week." TRUST ME the prices might beat most others but there is definantly a reason for that.This is my first and last experience with this company.

there when you need them

I admit that this store is not the first place I look when I need something along the lines of electronic devices and such. Whne finding it hard to locate certain items Radio Shack here seems to pull thru for me all the time. Seldom is it crowded, staff is helpful, prices are average. What you get here is what you need. No frills, no gimmicks, just decent gadgets of all sorts and you're on your way home soon after.

best seafood in JAX

Don't let the exterior of this store fool you. It's unassuming, but may be the best seafood in Jacksonville. Prices are good, the quality is outstanding. I've never had a bad piece of fish from them. I went in last week looking for grouper. They had a small piece on ice under the counter. They went into the walkin fridge and pulled out an entire fish, cleaned it in an adjacent room. After you buy fish from them you will turn your nose up at anything from the grocery store.

great dealership

My husband and I came here to purchase a truck. We knew exactly which one we wanted which helped quite a bit. I liked this dealership because we weren't hounded when we first walked in. The salesman introduced himself and told us to let him know if we needed any help. They had all of their vehicles in order by model, so you don't have to walk very far to look at the same models. In the end we ended up purchasing somewhere else because they couldn't give us the price we were looking for. But I definately liked this place.

great groomer

Never had a problem with any of the service at Pretty Paws. My dog is quite a handful, and they've never complained and always done an excellent job! He comes out smelling fresh and clean and always has such a cute little bandana on!

Fantastic movers

Freddies was really great ! The guys were so nice and professional and they moved all my furniture perfectly. I have a big master bedroom set and I forgot to tell them to take it apart they needed special tools. All of a sudden I see my headboard coming out the front door to go on the truck! Oh! They had the special tool for my bed right in their tool chest! They wrapped my dresser in plastic and also a big pad and took it right out! No silly questions! Zip, Zip, Zip and they were done!! They said Thank You for the move and welcome to their family of customers. It was wonderful.

don't go here

Don't take your pets here if you care about them. vet does not care about animals or what is in the animal's best interest. He is all about money and he's not terribly competent. Several animals have died while in his care after undergoing routine procedures. Bottom line is, he is ok to go to if you are just getting your pet vaccinated or something like that, but he is no good in an emergency and whatever you do don't let him operate on your pet.

Cute Clothes

I love this store. I am always looking for funky and unique clothes for my son, and this is my newest and favorite place. The prices are wonderful, and the clothes are in a league of their own. I've gotten many compliments on his cute ensembles that I've found so far. I will recommend this store to my fellow mommies, and I am very pleased with the look and cleanliness of the store as well. All of the employees are very knowlegable and friendly. Thanks.

great book selection

We come here on a regular basis. The library is a big building that is well organized with different sections dedicated to different subjects. There is also a huge selection of videos, cd's and books on tape. They have 2 or 4 lines going at the same time so you don't have to wait that long. This library hosts a list of other activities for our community. They have a large number of computers for either research, public use or book look up.
